The short version: we collect as little as possible. The contact form is the only place where we store something about you, and only so we can write back.
01Who we are
AIU Media is an independent games studio in Italy. This website is a showcase for our games.
The only place where this site collects personal data is the contact form. There are no accounts and no newsletter.
02What we collect
When you send a message through the contact form, we store the name, email address and message you enter, together with the language of the page, the consent flag and the time you submitted it.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may also process technical request data such as your IP address and user agent in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
03Why we use it
We use your data to read and reply to your message, to keep the form free of spam, and to meet our legal obligations.
The legal basis is your consent, given with the checkbox, and our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
04How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted by an automated cleanup job.
05Who we share it with
We use Cloudflare for hosting, for the database that stores messages (D1) and for the spam check (Turnstile). Cloudflare acts as a processor and handles the data only on our instructions.
We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising or analytics services.
06Cookies
This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The language you choose lives in the address of the page, not in a cookie.
Cloudflare Turnstile may process a short challenge to tell people from bots. It does not build an advertising profile of you.
07Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us through the contact form. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
08Children
This site is a showcase for parents and adults. Our games are designed for families, but we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site.
If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
09Changes
We may update this policy when something changes. The date at the top of the page shows the current version.
